We are living in tough times… I’m sure you’ll agree, no matter what your political or religious perspective is. As a Christian, my perspective aligns with what the Bible says. There are many signs in our world today that are prophesied in both Old and New Testaments, especially, the Gospels, and the books of Daniel and Revelation, plus others. From what I can see, we are living in the end times, and Jesus is due to return soon. I ask myself, “Am I ready?” How about you, my friend, are you ready?

Super Bowl Sunday!
Well friends, it’s Super Bowl Sunday with the Eagles playing the Chiefs. And like many, I will be watching the big game. Athletes vie for the top honor in their sport; in this case, it is for the coveted Super Bowl ring. The Bible talks about athletes and how important their dedication and endurance in running the race is to their success. It’s the same for you and me as believers: “You know that many runners enter a race, and only one of them wins the prize. So run to win! Athletes work hard to win a crown that cannot last, but we do it for a crown that will last forever” (1 Corinthians 9:24-25 CEV).
Why Is Your Faith Not Working?
Ever wonder why your faith doesn’t seem to be working? You believe God’s Word and all of His wonderful promises in your heart, not just your head, and you’re careful to speak only positive words that agree with what you’re believing for from God. So, what’s the problem? Check your love walk! Unforgiveness, strife and selfishness will hinder your faith.
So will the traditions of man and the trappings of “religion” that is void of an intimate, growing relationship with Jesus. Here is how The Passion Translation puts it: “When you’re joined to the Anointed One, circumcision and religious obligations can benefit you nothing. All that matters now is living in the faith that works and expresses itself through love” (Galatians 5:6).
Eye-Opening Perspective of Current Events
There are a lot of conflicting viewpoints people have about many different subjects—sports, health habits, ways to raise your children, entertainment—and yes, the big ones, religion and politics, that I was taught as a kid never to talk about because it causes arguments. Today, with the advent of social media, it seems like everybody likes to voice their opinion…and some not too kindly. If you want to get some eye-opening perspective on these two controversial subjects and see how they line up with today’s current events, I highly recommend SkyWatch TV.
God Is Still in the Miracle-Working Business!
The recent recovery of NFL Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin proves that God is still doing miracles. After a collapse on the playing field during a game with the Cincinnati Bengals, safety Damar Hamlin’s heart stopped for a prolonged period of time while medics worked on CPR then rushed him to ICU in a local hospital. Not expected to live or to have neurological complications if he did, “Damar’s recovery was nothing short of a miracle,” doctors said. Thousands prayed, and God answered. Praise the Lord—Miracles still happen!
