A NEW OUTLOOK (CONTINUED)
Faith cannot be simply intellectual assent. Faith has to be real, alive and birthed out of our heart. The Bible shows us how, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). The Word of God has to fill our heart to produce the faith that brings results. Then, that faith in our heart has to come forth in our conversation, “…for out of the abundance of our heart the mouth speaketh” (Matthew 12:34). This is a profound, but oft-repeated, principle that will work if we work it! God’s Word in our heart…faith is developed…it comes out our Mouth…we receive that for which we have believed. It isn’t complicated. This is the way God’s kingdom works.
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. (Mark 11:22–24)
You and I are passing through this earth, but we are not bound by man’s limitations, worldly perspectives, or the (evil) powers and principalities of the demonic spirit realm. We are citizens of the kingdom of heaven, and with God all things are possible! This is the new mindset we must put on…the new outlook we must embrace if we are to survive and be effective for the kingdom of God in this day.
A Prayer for You
Dear God, I thank You that I am a citizen of Your kingdom through being born again in Christ Jesus. I embrace this new outlook of faith, no longer being held captive by the limitations of this world’s system that doesn’t know You. Lord, bring many more souls into Your kingdom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
