WE NEED EACH OTHER! (CONTINUED)

There are principles in the Word of God that govern our Christian experience and the blessings we receive from God. Ignoring or rebelling against these principles that God has set forth for our benefit will result in forfeiting His blessings, or worse—opening the door to a curse or attack of the enemy.

In recent times as many places were “locked down,” people who for years regularly attended church found themselves watching online instead of joining together with others in their local congregation. This resulted in a feeling of isolation and sometimes indifference toward God and others. How sad! We need each other, even more so now than ever, as we navigate our way through the last days before Christ’s return.

What does the Bible say about this?

Let us not neglect our church meetings, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near. (Hebrews 10:25 TLB).

I have found in my own personal experience that when I’m faithful in attending and serving in my local church, things go much better for me. God’s blessings abound, and I can always trust that His protection and provision will be there for my family and me. So friends, find a local church where you will grow in the knowledge of God’s Word and enjoy fellowship and mutual support from others.

A Prayer for You

Dear God, thank you for Your church that is my spiritual home, a place where I am loved and accepted just as I am. Help me to be faithful in attendance, in serving You, and in supporting my brothers and sisters in Christ as You lead and enable me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
